Become a member

The members of AIOD Germany are represented by employees from all sectors relating to bone fracture treatment, including university clinics, large trauma centres, general hospitals and research laboratories.

Membership is suitable for:
•    Doctors training to become medical specialists in orthopaedics, trauma surgery and specialist trauma surgery
•    Senior physicians and scientists
•    Engineers from the medical technology field
•    Surgical/nursing staff, healthcare professionals

You can become a supporting member at any point and benefit from the subsidised participation fees. (Application for supporting membership)

To apply to become a full member (application for full membership) you require two guarantors. Your application will then be approved by the Managing Committee. Important: The guarantors must have already acquired full membership status.

Membership fees p.a. and methods of payment:
Supporting members:    €50
Full members:               €80
Legal entities:               €1,000

Associate members:
Students:                     €25
Pensioners:                  Free of charge

The membership fee is due upon admission into the AIOD. Your membership will automatically be extended by one year unless you cancel it three months before the end of the year. The fee will be withdrawn from your account by direct debit.

The invoice will be generated mid-way through the year.

Cancelling membership:
Membership can be cancelled three months before the end of the year.
As a full member, you can become involved as a speaker, workshop tutor, organiser of an event in your hospital and much more.
